Copper & OEM

The ICA Original Equipment Manufacture initiative includes elements of market development, market intelligence, copper stewardship and technology. The initiative aims to understand within the OEM community future trends in copper usage, and to improve copper's environmental footprint (including end-of-life and eco design issues).

The ICA Network includes market development, market intelligence, health and environment, and technology functions.

Market Intelligence aims to understand future trends in copper usage through copper-related market studies. Product stewardship aims to improve copper's environmental footprint through life cycle management, resource issues, end-of-life and eco design knowledge sharing.

Market development creates partnership projects to overcome material perception, knowledge and implementation issues, and that add to material marketing and final acceptance.

Technology aims to develop partnership projects to overcome technological roadblocks with a specific benefit to copper tonnage growth. Together, these programs form the core ingredients on offer to the OEM community.

The OEM Team also aims to develop partnership projects to overcome material perception and implementation issues, and to overcome technology roadblocks.
