Oriental Copper Co., Ltd. was established in 1994. The company is the first copper busbar factory in Southeast Asia. Oriental Copper has been widely recognized for its consistently top-quality production of high conductivity copper busbar above 100% IACS through the state-of-the-art technology and computerized semi-automatic machines from Europe, including a special process to homogenize billet temperature and a unique under-water extrusion system. Besides bare busbars and in-house tin-plated busbars, Oriental Copper also produces superior-quality rods and profiles of various shapes with cross-sectional area up to 10,000 mm2 and expanded width up to 260 mm. Other premium products include copper anode, copper tape in coil, silver-bearing copper, annealed copper and in-house fabricated components.

Oriental Copper always focuses on providing the value-added solutions to enhance customer benefits. The company can offer innovative copper products such as twist bar, edgewise elbow, etc as well as copper busbar conductors with superior surface flatness for highly-efficient jointing to enable a much lower watts loss at joints.

With a production capacity of 25,000 metric tonnes a year, Oriental Copper can fulfill all domestic requirements while also exporting substantial volumes to Asian countries, the Far East, the Middle East and Europe under its Registered Trademark OC-ETP®, the guarantee of consistent premium quality, continued improvement and innovation.
